CleanText Lab applies only the cleanup rules selected by the user. Always review the preview before sharing the result; the app does not determine whether an edit is appropriate for a particular document.
1. Our approach
Dustline Apps (“we,” “us,” or the “developer”) limits the information handled by CleanText Lab (“the app”) to what its features need. Text and filenames that you paste or import are processed only in working memory and are not saved as document history. The app stores only a local Pro-entitlement state and one cleanup-rule preset that you explicitly save. No account is required.
2. Information handled by the app
- Text you paste or the text and filename of a TXT or CSV file you choose with the system file picker
- Cleanup rules selected for the current task and one rule preset that you explicitly save locally
- A local Pro-entitlement state and UTF-8 cleaned copies that you explicitly create
- The app does not save document text or filenames as history.
Document text and filenames are processed on your device only for the current working session and are not sent to a server operated by the developer.
3. Third-party services
The app does not use an advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, or developer-operated cloud service.
The optional lifetime Pro purchase is processed by Apple's App Store (StoreKit). Apple processes payment information; the app and developer do not receive your complete payment details.
4. Sharing and export
Only when you start an export or share action does selected information pass through the operating system's share interface to a destination you choose. The destination's own policy governs its copy.
5. Retention and deletion
Document text and filenames remain only for the current working session and are not retained as history after the app closes. You can delete the saved rule preset in the app. Uninstalling the app deletes the preset and local Pro-entitlement state. You must separately delete cleaned files or shared copies saved outside the app. Apple's App Store retention policy applies to purchase data processed by Apple.
6. Children's privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Security
The app is designed around local storage, and third-party service connections use encryption in transit. No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when features, law, or third-party services change. Material changes will be indicated by updating the date on this page.
