1. Our approach
Dustline Apps (“we,” “us,” or the “developer”) limits the information handled by Your Ally Today (“the app”) to what its features need. The app does not save what you enter or the response it generates; only your selected language preference is stored locally on your device. No account is required.
2. Information handled by the app
- Feelings or words you enter to generate an on-device response for the current session
- Your Japanese or English language preference, stored locally on your device
- Read-aloud using your device's text-to-speech service; the app does not record audio or access the microphone
Your entries and responses are not saved as history or sent to a server operated by the developer. Only the language preference stays on your device.
3. Third-party services
The app does not use an advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, or developer-operated cloud service.
Read-aloud uses your device's text-to-speech service. Its processing follows your device settings and the service provider's policy.
4. Sharing and export
The app has no feature that exports or shares your entries or responses with the developer or another party.
5. Retention and deletion
Entries and responses are not retained. Uninstall the app or clear its app data in Android settings to delete the local language preference. Android may back up that preference when device backup is enabled.
6. Children's privacy
The app is not directed to children under 18, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
7. Security
The app is designed around local storage, and third-party service connections use encryption in transit. No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when features, law, or third-party services change. Material changes will be indicated by updating the date on this page.
